Doug Dill, Retired tech executive and community leader      

My name is Doug Dill. I am a retired tech executive with three-decades as a district resident. I’m currently chairperson of the San Dieguito Planning Group where I have served as an elected official, representing the interests of area residents on development project proposals. As chairperson, I work with my colleagues to evaluate projects, gather public input, and provide recommendations to County decision-makers and staff. Fire safety is critical to any development, and I have worked for years to ensure wildfire safe developments. 

I have experienced wildfires first-hand. I understand the importance of preparedness, defense, and evacuation planning in coordination with public agencies. I am confident this practical experience combined with many years working with my fellow residents and public safety officials uniquely qualifies me to serve.

The RSFFPD has expanded far beyond RSF in recent years to include much of the San Dieguito region. If elected, I will work to ensure the interests of all areas of the district are represented, from Rancho Santa Fe to 4S Ranch to Elfin Forest to Harmony Grove and beyond.
